HIN & SHS Innovation Challenge

Health Info Net AG (HIN) is the leading provider for secure communication and data exchange in the Swiss healthcare sector. In collaboration with Swiss Healthcare Startups (SHS), HIN is launching a new Innovation Challenge tailored for startups with the goal to drive innovation and the digital transformation of the Swiss healthcare sector.

Who can apply

If your startup operates in the field of communication, collaboration, secure data exchange, patient monitoring solutions, remote or hybrid care, or similar, then you should definitely apply. Intrigued? Showcase your ideas and innovations to our selected jury members. Let’s explore how you can leverage the HIN Services within your startup’s context and collaboratively bring your offerings closer to our customers, and make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the Swiss healthcare sector. In return you will get access to over 50’000 healthcare professionals in Switzerland.

Submission criteria

Your project submission will be evaluated by a jury of experts based on several important criteria such as:

  • The mutual benefits we can create together for the Swiss healthcare sector
  • The level of innovation demonstrated by your solution
  • The extent to which your solution contributes significantly to the digitalization of the healthcare sector, resulting in efficiency gains
  • The contribution of your solution to  the collaboration between stationary and ambulatory healthcare sectors
  • The operation of your startup in the field of communication, collaboration, secure data exchange, patient monitoring solutions, remote or hybrid care
  • The operation of your solution/startup within the B2B2C environment

Prize

The winner of the challenge will receive complimentary access to HIN services, allowing you to tap into the premier community in the Swiss healthcare sector!

Jury

Your application will be evalauted by our panel of expert. The HIN & SHS jury is composed of:

  • Thomas Löhrer, Co-initiator of Swiss Healthcare Startups, entrepreneur and partner of CR Kommunikation
  • Diana Hardie, CEO Swiss Healthcare Startups and digital health entrepreneur
  • Attila Fekete, Member of the executive management team and Head of sales & product management at HIN
  • Urs Fischer, Business development & innovation manager at HIN
  • Philipp Senn, Head of communication at HIN

Timeline

 

Step 1: Get acquainted with HIN’s service offerings by participating in or viewing the recording of the webinar on HIN Services and the HIN & SHS Innovation Challenge. The webinar is scheduled for April 16 from 12:00 to 13:00. If you’re unable to attend the live session, you can catch up later on our SHS YouTube channel.

Step 2: Apply for the HIN & SHS Innovation Challenge via the provided link by May 14.

Step 3: Selected startups will be notified by the May 31 and will have the opportunity to present their ideas to an expert jury on the June 20 from 13:00 to 17:00 in Wallisellen.

The application period for the HIN & SHS Innovation Chalenge closed on May 14th 2024.
